The Tallassee Volunteer Fire Fighters Association and Fire Co., Inc.
Inside the walls of the department lies the Tallassee Volunteer Fire Fighters Association. The purpose of this nonprofit organization is to:
- Promote the orderly and necessary formation of the volunteer firefighting services in the city of Tallassee.
- Aid in the continued training of its fire fighters.
- Assist in upgrading the performance of the members of this association.
- Create, through the association and increased awareness, by the general public, of the work and general purposes of the fire department.
- Promote public safety through the prevention and suppression of fires.
- Provide lifesaving, public safety services and emergency disaster assistance wherever and whenever they may be needed within the great State of Alabama.
Funding for the TVFFA consists strictly from donations of the general public.
